When RVers take summer trips, they make memories in iconic vehicles from brands like Airstream, Keystone and Jayco. But who makes those iconic RV brands (and some 16 others)? They’re called Thor Industries. And thanks to strategic acquisitions and organic growth, they’ve grown to become the market leader.

With more than 46% share of the RV market, Thor wanted to use their market-leader status to lift the entire industry, both domestically and globally. All while creating a brand that could exist in harmony with all of their subsidiaries. That’s why they turned to Simon/Myers.

Getting Up to Speed


A New Horizon


The initial creative request was a stunner. Working closely with Thor Industries and their subsidiaries, we took 24 RVs, 60 models, and a crew of 29 to Washington state for a two-week shoot. From Pacific beaches to inland deserts, we captured 14,000 still images and hours of video reflecting the passion for RVing.

Using our bounty of imagery, we created a series of outdoor boards and a gorgeous trade show sizzle film. These visual assets will eventually find their way onto websites, social media, subsidiary collateral—you name it. We want to give Thor the best return on their imagery investment possible, while giving the entire RV industry the boost it deserves.
